Location: Trakai, Lithuania

This training is a unique five-day journey into the world of grassroots media, where storytelling becomes a tool for civic action.

It is designed for educators, NGO workers, and facilitators who seek to empower their communities to not only navigate but actively shape today’s rapidly evolving media landscape.

At its core, the training explores how citizen journalism can drive democratic participation and inspire social change. Participants will delve into critical themes such as media literacy, digital ethics, and responsible communication, while also building hands-on skills in creating content that informs, challenges, and connects.

The training blends critical reflection with hands-on practice, guiding participants through media ethics, misinformation, storytelling, and the use of AI tools for content creation. Using non-formal, participatory methods like group work and co-creation, learners will also test and help refine new educational materials designed for wider use across Europe.

Before arriving, all participants will join a preparatory online session.

Age of participants: 18+

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the project
