Are you ready to make a real impact, meet lifelong friends, and discover rural France in a fun and meaningful way? Sem&Vol, affiliated with Solidarités Jeunesses, invites young volunteers to participate in a hands-on, intercultural project full of learning, teamwork, and adventure!
During this volunteering experience, you’ll take part in a wide range of practical and creative projects. Help protect and restore the environment by cleaning riverbanks, caring for green spaces, and preserving cultural landmarks such as fountains and old public washing places. You’ll also contribute to heritage and community projects, like restoring historic sites and helping recover local memory and cultural identity through exhibitions or reports.
On the educational and creative side, you’ll have the chance to organize and run workshops in schools or community centers, lead arts and cultural activities, and take part in local festivals — connecting with children, teenagers, and older members of the community.
Throughout the project, you’ll also gain valuable practical and personal skills — from minor masonry, woodwork, and painting, to communication, teamwork, and intercultural understanding — all while living together, sharing daily responsibilities like cooking, cleaning, and exploring the beautiful region together!
