At Casa a Colori, you will join a dedicated team working every day to promote inclusion, equity and meaningful human connection. Volunteers gain valuable experience while helping people who are building a new life in Italy.
1. Welcoming Migrants at the Office
Volunteers greet migrants, listen to their needs and offer basic guidance. Before starting, they receive training on Italian laws and local services to provide accurate support in a warm and respectful way.
2. Activities with Children and Young People
Volunteers support educators during workshops and after-school programmes, help with homework, play with younger children and assist in youth centre activities. They can also propose new games or creative initiatives.
3. Workshops with Asylum Seekers
Volunteers join social and educational workshops that encourage integration. They work alongside educators and support Italian classes by looking after the children of asylum seekers during lessons.
4. Food Support and Distribution
Volunteers help prepare and deliver weekly food supplies to asylum seekers, assist with shopping lists, and take part in soup-kitchen activities by collecting surplus food, preparing meals and serving guests.
