This training course is designed for youth workers and young professionals who want to support young people’s mental health in a way that feels real, inclusive, and human.
It explores the connection between emotional wellbeing, diversity, and social inclusion, helping participants understand how visible and invisible barriers (such as stigma, discrimination, gender expectations, cultural background, and migration experiences) affect young people’s opportunities, relationships, and sense of belonging.
During five dynamic days participants will visit local community initiatives, meet professionals and experts, join debates and peer-learning sessions, and take part in non-formal education workshops focused on stigma reduction, resilience-building, intersectionality, and art as a tool for emotional expression and empowerment.
Together, participants will exchange practical strategies and adaptable methods for providing emotional support in youth work, and they will co-create a resource booklet collecting good practices to bring back to their organisations and communities.
By the end of the training, you will leave with stronger skills, fresh inspiration, and a shared European network ready to promote mental wellbeing and more caring, inclusive spaces for all young people.
If this sounds like you, don’t overthink it: apply and be part of the change.
