“A Greenhouse Dome for the Cévennes’ Garden” is a unique project set in Finiels (Pont-de-Monvert), in the heart of the Cévennes National Park, where you will have the opportunity to join an international team of volunteers for two weeks and take part in environmental and community-based activities at the permanent REV site.

You will work on a project focused on sustainable development, collective living, and ecological construction, helping to build a wooden geodesic greenhouse dome for the community garden run by the association. This structure will support year-round cultivation and contribute to transforming the site into a nourishing and welcoming space for volunteers, visitors, residents, and local communities. During the workcamp, participants will learn about wooden construction with the support of a technical supervisor and take part in dedicated work sessions of around 25 hours per week. This experience will allow volunteers to deepen their understanding of eco-construction and sustainability while discovering the values of solidarity, cooperation, and living together in an international setting.

Reminder: Accommodation and food are covered, and you’ll stay in collective tents on the REV site, with access to nearby sanitary facilities and a shelter in case of bad weather. Meals will be provided by the association and prepared together by participants, who will take turns forming cooking teams. The project takes place in a remote mountain area, offering a great opportunity to enjoy nature, local festivities, concerts, and the beautiful landscapes of Lozère!
