This volunteering experience is an invitation to support social inclusion, rural development, and intercultural learning while discovering the social realities and community life of Viterbo, Italy.
As a volunteer, you will contribute to meaningful social projects supporting people with disabilities, migrants, and vulnerable groups through activities based on inclusion, participation, and solidarity. Depending on the activity placements, you may support social farming initiatives, daily centres for people with special needs, or migrant reception centres alongside professional staff and local volunteers.
Through these experiences, you will take part in socio-educational activities, community engagement, and daily support tasks that promote autonomy, wellbeing, and active participation within the local community. You will also experience collective living and intercultural exchange while collaborating with volunteers and beneficiaries from different backgrounds.
At the same time, you will develop valuable personal and professional competences such as communication, teamwork, empathy, adaptability, intercultural understanding, social engagement, and problem-solving skills while growing through daily collaboration and reflection in an international environment.
