Location: Portugalete (Basque Country – Spain)

VOICES FOR DEMOCRACY is a Youth Exchange focused on democracy and youth participation. Through non-formal education (workshops, group work, role plays and creative activities), participants explore how young people can have stronger voices in their communities and in Europe.

The exchange takes place from July 2 to July 12, 2026, near Bilbao (Portugalete). We plan to send a Lithuanian team (participants plus a group leader).

Accommodation will be in a sports center arranged as a hostel (bunk beds). Bring a sleeping bag, towel and toiletries. Meals will be provided in a restaurant near the accommodation. Airport is Bilbao – transfers will be coordinated based on group schedules.

Age of participants: 21-30

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project, based on original invoices, tickets and boarding passes (no taxi/private car).
