Location: Napoli (Portici), Italy
“Act out: Intersectionality and Theatre of the Oppressed” is an intercultural Youth Exchange taking place in Portici (Naples), Italy, from July 13 to 21, 2026. The project brings together young people from different European contexts to build inclusion and mutual understanding through non-formal education and Theatre of the Oppressed.
During the exchange, participants will explore intersectionality and identity in a practical way, looking at how different aspects of who we are shape our everyday realities. Through workshops, reflection, and theatre-based methods, the group will strengthen empathy, solidarity, and the skills needed to create safer spaces for intercultural dialogue.
This exchange is for motivated young people living in Europe who want to engage in collective learning and creative processes. The Lithuanian team will include four youth participants and one youth leader.
Active TavoEuropa membership is required to participate. If you have questions, contact Austeja at austejai@tavo-europa.eu.
Age of participants: 18-25 for youth participants, and 18+ for youth leaders.
Accommodation and meals are provided at Fabric Hostel in Portici, with breakfast included. Travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance bands and paid based on real expenses with the required documents; greener travel options are encouraged.
