The European Citizenship Academy is a seminar in Hendaye, France (28 September to 3 October 2026) designed for youth workers who want to strengthen European education and participation work with young people.
Across the week, you will explore the European Union in a practical and engaging way – building knowledge and understanding, learning how the EU works, and exchanging tools and approaches that help young people participate as informed citizens.
The programme includes interactive learning sessions, EU role play, youth mobility stories and an ideathon where you will develop ideas for the Europe of tomorrow, while also creating space for exchange, peer learning and long-term partnerships.
Age of participants: 18+
Accommodation is provided at Bella Vista Guest Center in Hendaye, and meals take place at the centre. Travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance bands (including green travel options). Active TavoEuropa membership is required to participate.
