Location: Kromeriz, Czechia

Volunteering in Klubicko 2027/2028 is a long-term European Solidarity Corps opportunity at Klubicko Kromeriz, a family centre in the east of Czechia working with children, families and the local community.

The volunteer will support daily activities for children aged 2-15, including children groups, an afternoon club for school-age children, kindergarten and nursery activities, English sessions, Montessori groups, folklore dance classes, mornings with parents and toddlers, and summer in-town camps. There may also be opportunities to join presentations, workshops and events with partner organisations in schools, senior houses, libraries and other community spaces.

This opportunity is best suited for someone aged 18-30 who is strongly motivated to work with children, open to learning through practice, and ready to be part of everyday community life. No specific previous knowledge, skills or experience are required, but motivation, patience and responsibility are important.

The activity starts in February 2027 and runs for around 53 weeks. Volunteers work around 35 hours per week, with two days off per week and two vacation days per month. Accommodation is provided in a rented shared flat, with a single room and shared kitchen, bathroom and WC. Food support is 8 EUR per day and pocket money is 7 EUR per day. Travel costs are reimbursed according to European Solidarity Corps rules.

Age of participants: 18-30

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ / European Solidarity Corps rules after the project.
