Location: Reykjavik, Iceland

SEEDS Iceland Long-Term ESC is a five-month European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity in Reykjavik with SEEDS Iceland, a non-governmental and non-profit organisation working to promote intercultural understanding, environmental protection and awareness through environmental, social and cultural projects.

The project offers 8 vacancies for Camp Coordinators and 1 vacancy for a Communication & PR Volunteer. Camp Coordinators support international Nature & Conservation workcamps around Iceland, environmental education camps, social solidarity projects in Reykjavik, and act as a link between Icelandic hosts and international short-term volunteers. The Communication & PR Volunteer supports communication with partner organisations, quality and performance procedures, social media content, and SEEDS artistic, cultural and educational activities.

This opportunity is suited for young people who are ready to work with international groups, interested in environmental issues, open to spending time with people from different countries, positive, flexible, proactive and ready to adapt to changes.

Accommodation is provided in a shared house in Reykjavik within walking distance of the SEEDS office and city centre. Food, monthly pocket money, health insurance and travel reimbursement according to European Solidarity Corps limits are provided. Volunteers may also travel to camps in other parts of Iceland during the camp season.

The project runs from 16 January to 24 June 2027. The application deadline is 30 October 2026 at 16:00 GMT.

Age of participants: 18-30

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ / European Solidarity Corps rules after the project.
