Join H2O – Associação de Jovens de Arrouquelas and become part of a dynamic team bringing young energy into a small rural community near Rio Maior. This ESC project is all about solidarity, creativity, and connection — where your contribution truly makes a difference.
As a volunteer, you’ll support a variety of activities that bring people together: from after-school programs with children to creative workshops with young people, and from intergenerational initiatives with the elderly to inclusion projects with people with disabilities. You’ll also help in social projects that provide food and essential goods to families, support animal care initiatives, and contribute to community events.
Beyond daily tasks, you’ll have the chance to design your own projects — whether it’s a theatre play, a cultural activity, or a campaign for inclusion — and share your culture with local people. You’ll also help raise awareness about the European Solidarity Corps through school visits, media, and public events.
