Join us for an exciting volunteering experience at Askov Højskole in Denmark, one of the country’s oldest and most unique folk high schools! From February 2026, you’ll be part of a vibrant and inclusive learning community where young adults (ages 18–25) come together to explore their interests, express creativity, and grow personally and academically.
As a volunteer, you’ll dive into the daily life of the school—“højskoleliv”—and take an active role in both social and organizational life. You’ll mainly support the communications department, helping to bridge the gap between staff and students. Your tasks will involve creative content creation, internal communication, and participation in events and school activities.
There’s also room to shape your role according to your own skills and interests—whether that’s photography, social media, cultural activities, or student engagement!
We are looking for a volunteer who is proactive, creative, independent, and open-minded—someone who enjoys working with young people and is eager to connect and contribute.
