As a Camp Leader with Worldwide Friends – Veraldarvinir in Hafnarfjörður, you’ll live and work alongside international volunteers in a sustainability-focused community. Your role is to guide short- and long-term volunteers in environmental projects—tree planting, beach clean-ups, nature protection, and creative sustainability workshops—while also helping with daily community life like cooking, cleaning, and sharing cultural recipes. You’ll travel across Iceland to take part in nature-oriented and educational projects, inspiring others to live more sustainably.

You’ll be part of a supportive team, living at the Worldwide Friends Sustainable Centre in shared rooms with Wi-Fi provided. All food ingredients are covered, and transport related to the project is included. In return for your commitment, you’ll gain hands-on environmental experience, leadership skills, and the chance to explore Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes.
