Celebrate the Finnish harvest season and volunteer at the Hyvärilä Youth Centre during the traditional Kekri Festival! You’ll help prepare local food, build traditional fences, create crafts, film videos, and organize community events for people of all ages—from children to seniors.
You’ll live in a youth hostel near a lake, surrounded by peaceful North Karelian nature. Enjoy saunas, hikes, biking, and authentic Finnish culture far from city crowds. All meals are provided buffet-style, with vegetarian and vegan options available.
Volunteers work 30–35 hours a week with two days off, and get a full taste of rural Finnish life, nature, and traditions.
