Hey, I’m Laura!

For as long as I can remember, I have always been a curious and a very social kid – eager to try out literally anything and everything I could find and spending all my time surrounded by different people. Before I even started school, I was already enrolled in a music school that I attended for a total of 12 years, explored photography, even gaining some recognition in different photography contests, tried out other art forms, volunteered at every event I could and squeezed in every afterschool activity possible. That desire to do everything never went away. I continue craving learning new things while making new connections and friendships with people from all over the world. I have always been passionate about the creative field and I love challenging myself with content creation, especially video creation.

This drive led me to pursue a degree in Creative Communication and complete many different communication internships. All of these experiences helped me discover what I love doing and the field that I want to grow in professionally. My Erasmus journey began when I was 17 with my first ever Youth Exchange in Romania. It was love at first sight – I adored meeting and connecting with new people, learning, travelling, seeing different cultures and just the feeling of these projects. Since then, I have joined a few more Youth Exchanges and Training Courses. I had the opportunity to spend a university semester in Spain and complete my internship in event organization and communication in Portugal.

These international adventures shaped me into becoming someone brave and outspoken, who works hard to reach her goals both professionally and personally. During a training course in Croatia focused on Erasmus+ project organization, I had a moment of clarity : these experiences had given me so much, they transformed me into who I am today and since then I have always wanted to work in this field and give back. After 2 years of manifesting this dream, I am now working in a field that truly fulfills me – helping others discover and experience the same life-changing opportunities. My adventurous nature has brought me here and I can’t wait to see the next crazy adventures I will take on with Tavo Europa!
