My name is Lorenzo Paschetto, I am 28 years old. I’m from Italy, Biella, close to Torino; I also lived 2 years in Galway, Ireland thanks to an ESC project.
I’m currently living in Vilnius where I’m doing 1 year of Civic Service with Tavo Europa.
I graduated in 2019 in Social Work where I learned to work in multidisciplinary equipment, to create a meaningful relationship to support clients with complex needs to improve their life quality both from social and health perspectives… During my studies, I did internships in a counseling center specialized in teenager’s sexuality and family dynamics and another internship in a Day center for people with mental disabilities and psychiatric diagnoses.
After my studies, I started to work in Rehabilitation for Drug addicts and in Housing First and Harm Reduction methodology intervention with homeless people.
I did a European Solidarity Corps (ESC) experience in Ireland for 1 year and I decided to stay there to work for another 8 months. During this experience, I learned about Non-Formal education methodology ad I am willing to learn more about it with Tavo Europe. I am confident that I will be able to implement my knowledge and skills in this new context, thanks to the help of Tavo Europa staff.
I’m used to living in an intercultural environment and I truly believe that everyone should be given the chance to travel and explore the opportunities that the European Union offers.
