Are you naturally curious, detail-oriented, and eager to gain hands-on experience across a variety of topics? If you’re passionate about sustainability, human rights, digital technologies, or media literacy – this could be the perfect fit. We’re looking for a proactive translation intern who’s confident working in both English and Lithuanian and ready to take on the challenge. Your tasks will include:
Translating various content types – from academic articles and blog posts to videos and podcasts – between English and Lithuanian
Editing and proofreading texts in both languages
Supporting the creation of publications, research materials, and other intellectual outputs
Assisting with administrative tasks
Participating in partner meetings and providing general support to the team
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in both project management and translation, who’s proficient in writing, thrives in a fast-paced environment.
As an intern, you’ll have priority access to international partner meetings, youth exchanges, and training programs—offering valuable opportunities to learn, grow, and network. That said, it’s still hands-on work, and we hope to see you not only involved in exciting projects but also contributing as an active member of our team.
We’re hoping you:
Have excellent Lithuanian and English language skills
Can work independently and take initiative
Tackle tasks with creativity and enthusiasm
Communicate clearly and confidently
Can commit to 6–8 weeks (around 20 hours per week)
If you’re a university student, we can offer an internship placement that meets your university’s requirements—duration, weekly hours, and focus can all be adjusted. Our internships usually last two months and are remote, but we’re flexible. If you’re interested, email your resume and a cover letter in English to info@tavoeuropa.eu, telling us why you’re the right fit. Just a heads-up: we’re looking to get to know the real you, so AI-generated cover letters won’t be accepted.
