Location: Dublin, Ireland

This youth work conference and transnational study visit is designed for youth workers and practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of masculinity and strengthen their capacity to engage young males in meaningful and supportive ways.

Participants will take part in guided study visits to six youth services across the north side of Dublin, gaining firsthand insight into practical approaches used to engage young men around identity, wellbeing, and gender norms. You will observe real-life practice, meet experienced youth workers, and explore how services create safe spaces for boys and young men to express vulnerability, build empathy, and challenge stereotypes.

The programme also includes a one-day conference featuring keynote inputs, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. Together with national stakeholders and European practitioners, you will reflect on research, share tools and methodologies, and explore how learning can be adapted to different cultural contexts. Through peer exchange, dialogue, and strategic reflection, you will strengthen your confidence in developing gender-aware and youth-centered practices.

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project.
