Promoting cooperation between non-formal education and formal education through European cooperation and exchange projects.” This seminar brings together teachers, youth workers, school directors, and educational decision-makers from France and across Europe to reflect on how formal and non-formal education can complement one another.

Inspired by Europe’s cultural richness and diversity of practices, we will explore how learning can happen both inside and outside the classroom, while staying connected to learners’ needs, local contexts, and wider societal changes.

Over three days, we will build an intercultural collective, exchange perspectives on the history and role of different educational approaches in Europe, and identify both obstacles and opportunities for cooperation. Together, we will analyze inspiring examples of successful partnerships and then move on to designing new projects. On the final day, we will transform these ideas into reality—drafting action plans, preparing for future cooperation, and laying the groundwork for long-term collaboration.

This seminar is not only a space for reflection, but also for action: by the end, we will leave with fresh insights, stronger connections, and concrete tools to create innovative educational pathways that bridge schools, youth work, and non-formal education across Europe.

Age of participants: 18+

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the project.
