Location: Florence, Italy
Join us in this immersive experience will explore how tourism can be a powerful tool to protect the environment, preserve cultural heritage, and strengthen local communities.
Over eight days at Villa Morghen and across the Florentine area, you will take part in field visits to local sustainable tourism projects, interactive workshops, and collaborative group activities, while engaging directly with public institutions and non-profit organizations leading innovative initiatives.
Participants will explore how tourism supports youth empowerment, community development, and environmental responsibility, exchange experiences with peers from across Europe, and learn practical tools to integrate sustainability into their own youth work or local projects.
The program combines reflection sessions, hands-on exercises, site visits, and interactive discussions, allowing you to gain firsthand insights into how Florence balances tourism, culture, and environmental care.
By the end of the week, you’ll leave with new skills, fresh ideas, strong connections, and inspiration to make a real impact in promoting sustainable tourism in your communities!
Age of participants: 25-35
Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed after the project.
