Location: Sovata, Romania
This training course is designed for youth workers who want to strengthen their communication skills, emotional resilience, and ability to create more compassionate and inclusive environments for young people.
Participants will take part in interactive workshops combining Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and outdoor experiential education. Through practical exercises, group work, and peer learning, you will explore core NVC competences such as observation, feelings, needs, and requests, and learn how to apply them in real youth work contexts. You will also practice empathy, perspective-taking, and different levels of listening to better understand and support young people.
The programme focuses on using communication as a tool for cooperation, conflict transformation, and group facilitation, while also strengthening self-awareness and emotional resilience through both theory and lived experience. Outdoor activities and experiential learning will support participants in integrating these skills in a practical and engaging way.
If you want to improve your communication, build stronger connections, and support young people in developing authentic and compassionate ways of expressing themselves, this training course is for you!
Age of participants: 18+
Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project.
