Location: Dolný Ohaj, Slovakia
This training course is for youth workers who want to grow professionally, exchange ideas and good practices, and gain fresh inspiration for their everyday youth work — all while connecting with passionate people from across Europe in an international and supportive environment.
Through interactive workshops, practical sessions, discussions, and peer-learning activities, participants will explore important topics in today’s youth work, including mental health, inclusion, sustainability, community engagement, and project management. Activities prepared by different national teams will give you the chance to discover diverse approaches, share your own methods and experiences, and learn directly from other youth workers in a hands-on and collaborative way.
Beyond the learning experience, this mobility is also an opportunity to travel, explore, and create unforgettable memories. Hosted in Slovakia, the project can become your own mini eurotrip — a chance to discover new places, experience different cultures, and maybe even visit nearby cities before or after the training.
The programme combines non-formal education, teamwork, and international exchange to strengthen key competences such as facilitation, communication, cooperation, project planning, leadership, and community-based work. Special focus is placed on professional development, active participation, and building long-term connections and future collaborations between partner organisations.
Expect an inspiring atmosphere full of creativity, meaningful conversations, intercultural exchange, and practical learning you can bring back to your organisation and local community.
If you want to exchange methods and experiences, develop new skills, meet inspiring people, and combine learning with discovering new places, this training course is for you!
Age of participants: 18+
Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project.
