Symbolwork is a training course designed for youth workers, counsellors and other professionals who support people in their personal development. The project introduces an approach that uses symbols to help individuals explore and express their thoughts, feelings and challenges in a more visual and accessible way, particularly in youth work, counselling and other support settings.

Participants will explore the five-step Symbolwork approach and learn how to apply basic symbol-based interventions in a client-centred way. Through practical exercises, they will discover how to involve peers, adapt methods to different target groups and develop their own activities. The course will also focus on helping individuals reflect on challenges, gain new perspectives and identify possible solutions.

Age of participants: 18+

Accommodation and meals are provided, and travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules as described in the infopack.
