This training course is an invitation to explore new and creative ways of learning in youth work. It is designed for youth workers and educators who believe that learning should be engaging, meaningful and connected to real life, and who are curious to experiment with innovative methods.
Instead of inventing new tools from scratch, this course focuses on the learning potential of modern board games.
During the project we will discover how games rich in strategy, communication and creativity can be transformed into powerful tools for non-formal education.
Through hands-on play, reflection, group work and discussions, the training explores how existing board games can support competence development using a competence-based approach and the ETS Competence Model for Youth Workers.
We will learn how to turn play into learning experiences that strengthen teamwork, problem-solving, social skills and critical thinking among young people.
If you want to refresh your youth work practice, learn through play and discover how games can change the way of learning, this training course offers a motivating and inspiring space to do so.
