Location: Strasbourg, France

This seminar is designed for youth workers who want to explore democratic participation, civic inclusion, and the fight against discrimination, while reflecting on the voting rights of foreigners in elections in an intercultural and international environment.

Through round tables, conferences, focus groups, intercultural exchange, and meetings with local actors and communities, participants will discuss different national realities, share best practices, and develop a deeper understanding of the legal, political, and social issues connected to foreign voting rights. Group work and peer learning will support them in strengthening critical thinking, respectful debate, and active participation in public life.

The programme combines non-formal education methods, teamwork, and collaborative learning to strengthen key competences such as communication, critical thinking, civic awareness, intercultural dialogue, participation, and advocacy. Participants will also be encouraged to exchange experiences, create synergies, and develop ideas for future local and transnational initiatives connected to democracy, diversity, and active citizenship.

If you want to deepen your understanding of democratic participation, develop new skills, and be part of an inspiring international learning experience, this seminar is for you!

Age of participants: 18+

Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project.
