Hey, I am Veronica and I am from Genova, a seaside city in northern Italy where the sea is much more than a landscape — it’s a part of who I am. Did you know that scientific studies show that simply watching the sea can activate the same brain areas as meditation? For me, the ocean has always been a source of calm, reflection, and inner balance. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to grow both personally and professionally through several international experiences, especially thanks to the Erasmus+ programme.
From Denmark to Germany and Hungary, each country has taught me something new — expanding my intercultural awareness, strengthening soft and hard skills, and reminding me of the value of curiosity, openness, and lifelong learning. Academically, I studied Education and Training at the University of Genova and then continued with a Master’s degree in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning at the University of Florence. These studies sparked my passion for inclusive, people-centered approaches to education and community development.
I’m also deeply committed to sustainability and the green transition — not only as global goals but as everyday actions. I believe that caring for the planet starts by cultivating our own garden: with awareness, responsibility, and a desire to make a small but meaningful difference. Currently, I’m carrying out my Civic Service at Tavo Europa, where I’m mainly involved in communication, educational, and social media tasks. It’s a space where I can both apply what I’ve studied, especially in areas like sustainability, education, and active citizenship, and continue learning by doing.
