The purpose of this e-booklet is to reflect on the youth exchange held in Alqueva, Portugal (26–30 August 2025), part of the Erasmus+ project that also included a training course (12–17 August 2025, also in Alqueva).

Erasmus+ inspires young people to join exchanges, create lasting memories, grow personally, and learn about other cultures and perspectives. Adventure, experience, and connection are the three words that best describe our feelings about this exchange.

The first part of this e-booklet provides a synthesis of the youth exchange: the issues it addressed, its objectives, its relation to Erasmus+, guiding principles, event details, activities, results, and expected impact. This youth exchange combined two approved activities authorized by the National Agency Erasmus+ Youth/Sport and the European Solidarity Corps, Portugal.

The second part, created by the participants, highlights their experiences, what they enjoyed most, and includes their testimonies. It also lists the participants, their roles and organizations, and offers recommendations of people and places to meet in Alqueva and Portel (the municipality to which Alqueva belongs).
