Location: Alqueva, Portel, Portugal
This youth exchange is designed for young people who want to explore youth participation and civic engagement while building meaningful connections in an international and supportive environment.
Participants will take part in workshops, group work, energizers, debates, and non-formal education activities focused on democratic life, youth civic participation, European citizenship, ethical dilemmas, and the barriers young people face when trying to get involved in society. Through reflection, collaborative learning, and practical activities, you will explore different forms of participation, discuss youth strategies and priorities at European level, and develop mini proposals for strengthening social and civic participation.
The programme combines non-formal education methods, teamwork, and intercultural exchange to strengthen key competences such as communication, critical thinking, cooperation, civic awareness, and active participation. The project also includes cultural activities, group reinforcement dynamics, and a guided visit to Portel.
If you want to connect with people from different countries, deepen your understanding of youth participation and democracy and be part of an inspiring international experience, this youth exchange is for you!
