Location: Faro, Portugal
This youth exchange is designed for young people who want to better understand meaningful youth participation, explore active citizenship, and reflect on their role in creating positive change in their communities and across Europe.
Participants will take part in interactive workshops, discussions, games, debates, role-plays, and outdoor activities that explore topics such as youth leadership, inclusion, intercultural learning, and local community action. Through peer learning, co-creation, creative workshops, reflection circles, and intercultural learning activities, you will discover how young people can move beyond token participation and become active voices in decision-making processes at both local and European level.
The programme combines intercultural exchange, collaborative learning, and creative non-formal education, giving participants the opportunity to build European connections, strengthen communication, teamwork, critical thinking, facilitation, and initiative-taking skills, and design concrete ideas for local action. It also offers a space to share experiences with young people from different countries, increase intercultural awareness, and learn how to create safer and more inclusive environments for everyone.
If you want to connect with young people from different countries, learn more about youth participation, inclusion, and active citizenship, and explore how you can contribute to a more engaged and democratic European community, this youth exchange is for you!
