Location: Erzurum, Turkey

Roots & Horizons is an international Erasmus+ Youth Exchange taking place in Erzurum and Uzundere, Turkiye. It brings together young people from six countries to explore rural life, ecology, and ethnobotanical heritage.

Through non-formal education activities, participants will learn about local production and traditional knowledge, and reflect on how rural communities can develop sustainably while protecting their natural and cultural resources. The programme includes hands-on workshops, discovery walks, and intercultural exchanges designed to connect local wisdom with youth perspectives.

Age of participants: 18-25 and 1 group leader 18+

Accommodation and meals are provided, and travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules as described in the infopack
