Location: Morbello, Italy
This training course is designed for youth workers, volunteers, who want to improve their communication, storytelling, and group facilitation skills while exploring the pedagogy of stand-up comedy in an international learning environment.
Participants will take part in interactive sessions and non-formal learning activities focused on storytelling, comic writing, body awareness, performance, and integration. Through group work, reflection, practical exercises, and performing activities, you will explore how humor and stand-up comedy can become useful tools in youth work to defuse conflicts, strengthen group cohesion, support authentic communication, and foster a more dynamic and inclusive environment.
The programme combines non-formal education methods, theatre-inspired practice, creativity, and collaborative learning to strengthen key competences such as communication, critical thinking, public speaking, storytelling, self-awareness, and facilitation. Special attention is given to using humor consciously and responsibly, as a way to support inclusion, authenticity, and connection in everyday youth work.
If you want to connect with people from different countries, develop new communication tools, experiment with storytelling and performance, and be part of an inspiring international training experience, this project is for you!
