Location: Brussels, Belgium
This training activity is designed for young people who want to explore sustainable and inclusive economic growth, strengthen their advocacy skills, and take part in a meaningful international experience connected to European decision-making.
Participants will take part in an intensive working process focused on drafting, negotiating, and formally adopting a Youth Declaration on Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth. Through collaborative sessions, discussion, negotiation, and policy-writing work, you will experience firsthand how international policy documents are created and how ideas can be transformed into concrete proposals for decision-makers. The programme also includes a visit to the European Parliament and to a civil society organisation working on sustainability and economic growth, giving participants the chance to connect the training with real European institutions and practices.
The programme combines active participation, teamwork, and practical learning to strengthen key competences such as drafting, negotiation, advocacy, communication, and civic engagement. Special attention is given to helping participants understand how policy processes work in practice and how young people can contribute to them in a meaningful way.
If you want to develop practical advocacy skills and better understand European policy-making, this training is for you!
Age of participants: 18+
Accommodation and meals during the project will be free of charge. Travel expenses will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules after the project.
