Beyond the Labels is an international Erasmus+ youth exchange focused on challenging stereotypes, prejudice and discrimination while promoting inclusion, diversity and respectful communication. The project brings together young people who are interested in understanding how stereotypes influence everyday interactions, social relationships and online communication. It is designed for young people who are open to different perspectives and want to contribute to a more inclusive society.
Through interactive workshops, role-playing activities, group discussions, creative challenges and intercultural exchange, participants will explore how stereotypes are formed, how to recognise discriminatory language and how to distinguish facts from opinions and misleading assumptions. They will strengthen their critical thinking, media literacy, communication and teamwork skills, while learning to challenge prejudice, express their views confidently and engage in respectful dialogue with people from different backgrounds.
Age of participants: 18 – 25
Accommodation and meals are provided, and travel costs are reimbursed according to Erasmus+ rules as described in the infopack.
Please note that this project includes an additional participant selection process by the organisers. Final participation will be confirmed only by the organisers. Tavo Europa acts as an intermediary between participants and the hosting organisation.
